Adult BLS/AED Provider Courses

The Malta Resuscitation Council (MRC) in collaboration with The European Resuscitation Council (ERC) are organising:

Adult BLS/AED Provider Courses

• Date: 18th November 2006.
• Venue: Institute of Health Care, G'Mangia

Applications are open to doctors, nurses and laypersons interested in Resuscitation. The format of the course includes lectures and ‘hands-on’ skill stations, and duration is about 4 hours. Certificates will be endorsed by both the MRC and the ERC. This international BLS provider certificate will be accepted as a pre-course requisite for those candidates who intend to sit for future ALS courses abroad or locally.

The faculty will be made up of local instructors certified by the ERC and course director is Dr Mary Rose Cassar.

Applications can be collected from Dr Mary Rose Cassar, Dr Anna Spiteri, Mr Trevor Abela Fiorentino and Mrs Vicky Bugeja Rausi at the A&E Department, St. Luke’s Hospital.

The number of participants on these courses is strictly limited and applications should be submitted before the 4th November 2006. Applicants who were on the waiting list from the previous course will be given preference.
