European Trauma Course

The Malta Resuscitation Council (MRC) and The Malta Institute for Medical Education in collaboration with The European Resuscitation Council (ERC) are organising

European Trauma Course

  • Dates: 28th,29th  and 30th June '09
  • Venue: Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort St. George’s Bay.

 

The ETC is a 2½ day trauma simulator based course for doctors and is endorsed by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), European Society of Trauma Surgeons (ESTES), European Society of Anaesthesiologists (ESA) and the European Society of Emergency Medicine (EuSEM).

 

The course is suitable for Surgeons, Anaesthetists and Emergency Physicians expected to actively lead and / or participate in a trauma team. Its philosophy is the ‘team approach’ which aims towards the expedient and simultaneous treatment of the critically injured patient by various specialists. 15 local CME points are given to this course. The course fee is €750 and this willcover all course expenses, course dinner, coffee / lunch breaks for the 2½ day course duration and certificates. Certificates will be endorsed by the European Resuscitation Council.

 

Places will be strictly limited and will be offered on ‘first come, first served’ basis on presentation of the application with the cheque. The organising committee reserves the right to accept/refute any application. The deadline for the submitting of applications is Sunday 10th May 2009
