I am interested in applying for a MRC course, how do I proceed?
Go to the MRC Course Page, click on the link of the course you are interested in and fill in the form. This will put include your name on a waiting list and you will be contacted by our administrator with available dates for you this course.
Disclaimer: Your personal information will be used by the MRC administration to process your application. It will also be sent to the European Resuscitation Council, the body that will issue your certificate.
How do I pay for the course?
Once contacted by our administrator, you will be able to pay via PayPal, a chèque or a bank draft payable to the Malta Resuscitation Council.
How do I prepare for my course?
Once you have paid, you will have access to a course manual, a pre-course questionnaire (which you need to fill in before you come to be course), and online teaching material via the ERC CoSy portal. Further relevant information might be sent by our administrator in to the personal email address that you would have provided us with.
How am I assessed on my course day?
Basic and intermediate courses apply a continuous assessment approach. Advanced courses involve additional, formal post-course multiple choice questions and a cardiac arrest emergency simulation test scenario toward the end of the course.
What if I fail any of the assessments?
Not all is lost! Your course director will give you options to discuss a resit, if applicable.
How do I get my certificate?
On successful completion of the course, you will be able to download and print your certificate from the ERC CoSy portal.
